Jaz trained on the National Theatre Studio Director's Course, the Acting and Contemporary Theatre course at East 15 and Dartington College of Arts.
Jaz was recently on attachment at the National Theatre Studio working on a new play she is writing and making with actors.
She was also nominated by the National Theatre as part of mitos21, the European Theatre Network, to workshop a new piece at Performance Laboratory Salzburg 2019.
She has been the finalist for several directing awards; Genesis Future Directors Award 2017 and 2019, the RTST Sir Peter Hall Director Award 2018 and the JMK Award 2016.
She is the Co-Artistic Director of award-winning arts company, Antler (Winner of IdeasTap Underbelly Award, Winner of Pulse Festival Suitcase Prize, Nominated for The Stage Best Ensemble Award, Winner of Best Short Fiction at BFI Future Film Festival) who have transferred shows to the Bush Theatre, Soho Theatre and toured the UK. Antler were an Associate Company at the Bush Theatre 2017-18.
